Counselling in schools

  • Generelt om tjenesten

    Description

The school you attend is required to offer counselling. You can get help with making decisions concerning your further education and career choices (education and career counselling). If you have personal problems and difficulties settling into your school, you will also be able to get advice (socio-pedagogical counselling). Your school may find the appropriate counselling services and help you get in touch with them. You and your parents will be informed that this counselling service is available. Counselling can be provided in groups or individually, depending on your needs. The goal is for you to receive help to develop and utilise the resources you have—without being bound by traditional gender roles.

Counselling will help to reduce social differences between students, prevent students from dropping out of school and integrate ethnic minorities.

Students in primary through upper secondary school.
